The Scottish National Training Programme (SNTP) is part of the Scottish Ice Hockey Coaching Programme. National Coach, Kevin Doherty, will be responsible for implementing this new programme which will oversee the selection and training of players at all age levels in Scotland.

The SNTP will provide an opportunity for Scottish players to participate in an age appropriate training programme which will focus on developing their technical skills, hockey sense and fitness. A more intense and vigorous regime for developing the players is envisaged as well as developing character and self-discipline.
